Honeys are out here making boss moves. But, what happens when those moves leave us isolated, exhausted, bitter, and unfulfilled? There comes a time in many Honeys’ lives—including mine—where we do a whole gut rehab reassessment of our journeys. I think some call it… a midlife crisis? Sure.

As we get to a certain age, many of us are more likely to advance in our careers—whether that means cushier titles in executive, C-Suite, or other leadership roles. At some point, however, we get tired of the hamster wheel. Especially, in these wild and uncertain times. What better way to realign ourselves than now? In fact, a recent Forbes article noted that more Black women are waving GIRL, BYE to the traditional corporate structures and redefining success on our own terms.
